fan is dead. I think it may be the relay

Hello, my fan is dead. I think it may be the relay, well at least that was i was told. Now Im looking for it and I cant find it. Where is the main relay located and what does it look like?

are you talking about your main clutch fan? how do u know its not the clutch?


reason is.. my car currently has w202 has around 93k miles.. and the main engine fan hardly spins.. I can rev up the engine to almost redline while holding on the engine fan and I feel no force. to this day I thought it was the clutch.. is it only a relay?

I was actually going to install my hayden electric fan controller onto 1 of the 2 Aux electric fans. and remove my engine fan all together..

as long as the e fans come on eariler, it should be a problem removing the big fan, I plan on having mine taken out within the next few weeks...

Nope mine is the big electric fan, i checked the fuses and they look fine. but I was told it might the relay and just dont know where its located.
