    keyless entry module?

    Hi all,

I wanted to add keyless entry to my car.. Is it possible to remove the keyless entry module from a 96 (or up) and wire it up to my car? Am I going to solder it onto my current connections? Has anyone ever tried this?

i guess i m not understanding why you want to pull the factory module out? in some cases the keyless module ties in to the locks themself. if you want to add keyless to the car just buy a after market and tie it in with the factory locks. but if its professionally install cant run more then $150 with labor

You can get after market ones off ebay that have the switchblade key. If you like the look just go for that, any of your local stereo shops should be able to put it in.
